The Angkor Intellectual Academy (AiA) was founded in 2019 by a group of scholars who have graduated from locally and internationally recognized universities and have years of experiences both in public and private education sectors. AiA has been established to provide Cambodian children and youths with a well-rounded education in order that they will be able to become independent, caring and responsible global citizens who eventually make a positive impact in both Cambodia and the globe.

The CEOkid subject is a vital part of the AiA experience, helping our teenagers transition from students to visionary thinkers. By practicing proactivity, they are learning to focus on what they can control and making a positive impact on the world around them.

On March 11, 2026, AiA always celebrate AiA Reading Day. At AiA, promoting a strong reading culture is an important part of our educational mission. Reading plays a vital role in students’ intellectual and personal development, as it is one of the richest sources of knowledge and learning.
Through AiA Reading Day, students are encouraged to develop positive reading habits, explore a wide range of books, and build curiosity about the world around them. Reading not only enhances language and comprehension skills but also stimulates creativity, critical thinking, and imagination.
By nurturing a love of reading from an early age, AiA aims to help students become lifelong learners who continuously seek knowledge and self-improvement.
On March 6, 2026, AiA students participated in an exciting field trip to Kids Park. The activity was organized to provide students with a fun and interactive learning experience beyond the classroom.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore various play areas, engage in creative activities, and enjoy learning through play in a safe and stimulating environment. The field trip also helped students develop social skills, teamwork, and confidence while interacting with their classmates and teachers.
AiA believes that experiential learning activities such as field trips play an important role in supporting students’ holistic development by combining education with real-world experiences.
On February 27, 2026, teachers and students from AiA Kampong Speu Campus embarked on an educational field trip to Ta Prohm Temple, located in Tonle Bati, Takeo Province.
During the visit, students explored the ancient temple grounds and gained valuable insights into its historical and cultural significance. Through guided observation and discussion, they deepened their understanding of Cambodia’s rich heritage and architectural legacy.
This field trip provided a meaningful hands-on learning experience beyond the classroom. It fostered curiosity, strengthened historical appreciation, and encouraged collaborative learning among students and teachers alike.

On February 19, 2026, AiA officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MindSpace Center, marking an important milestone in the school’s ongoing commitment to holistic and well-rounded education.
This strategic partnership focuses on integrating Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), mental health support, and cognitive development into the core framework of the AiA community. Through this collaboration, both institutions aim to strengthen emotional resilience, enhance personal growth, and foster a supportive learning environment for students and staff alike.
The signing ceremony was held at the MindSpace Center Headquarters in Phnom Penh and was presided over by Dr. Thong Veasna, Chief Executive Officer of AiA, and Mrs. Ly Sokkhun, Managing Director of MindSpace Center.
